Using this well-known game where a magnetic angle is used to fish out of an erected square box, typical marine rubbish elements can be fished for.
Use actual objects or ones from a play shop and fish from the fishing game.
These marine rubbish objects like a tin can can be discussed further once the children have fished them out and then “recycled” according to the appropriate categories (analogue to the green, yellow or blue rubbish containers*). Hereby it is possible to explain the rubbish collection and recycling systems and thus to integrate the children into their real world at home or at school.
